Be prepared to a gastronomic tour throughout all Russia within the limits of the Moscow Ring Road. Here you can try everything on a traditional grand Russian scale. Try the metropolitan cuisine, enhanced by the chiefs of different nationalities, employed by Moscow in the forefront of the ex-Soviet Russia economic growth.

Restaurant
All the world cuisines are presented in the eclectic Moscow. An Uzbek pilaf, a Caucasian shish-kebab, a Ukrainian borsch, Siberian pelmeni and a Russian style sturgeon are traditional for Russia. Moscow cuisine has absorbed the traditions of cooking from neighboring nations. Everyone will surely find here his/her favorite restaurant that suits in atmosphere, interior and the amount of average bill. Some outlets have already became the capital’s business card long ago, and are associated with the main sightseeing attractions of Moscow.

Bar
As a general rule the Moscow bars are situated closer to downtown and serve as a night refuge for midnight dwellers of megalopolis. Some bars organize entertainment arrangements on their grounds music shows or striptease. Other bars remain empathetically conservative and traditional. During sport championships and tournaments the sport bars are especially much sought after, where TV plasma screen becomes the centre of attraction.

Cafe 
Cafe in the evening is a traditional meeting point of young people. And in the daytime the main visitors of cafes are office people who order business lunches. Both network cafes that are similar in appearance and the original racy outlets are presented in Moscow. As a general rule strong drinks are not served in cafes, yet sometimes after 11 p.m. a cafe may be converted into a noisy bar with a dance floor.

Fast food brands known all over the world are widely represented in Moscow. However, there is also a traditional Russian fast food canteens, attached to one or another public agencies. As a general rule, everyone who wishes may take a meal at such canteens.

Street food
If you wish you may always have a bite in the street. Grilled chicken prepared on a spit, Uzbek scones baked in stone ovens, pancakes rouged on a frying pan, and meat pasty gilded in boiling oil  this is not nearly a full selection of street food. In general this food is safe for health and fairly inexpensive.
